The Texas Public Health Association is holding its annual professional educational conference in San Antonio, Texas March  20-22, 2013.  This conference theme is  ¡Viva! Public Health. 

Also, held in conjunction with the TPHA Annual Conference is Public Health and the Built Environment being held Tuesday, March 19th and is hosted by the San Antonio Metropolitan Health DistrictPlease note that a separate registration is required for the Tuesday event.

The target audience includes physicians, nurses, health educators, academicians, registered sanitarians/environmental health professionals, nutritionists/dietitians, social workers, community mental health professionals and others working in public health and related fields. 


Early-bird registration rates are good through March 1st.  After March 1st the registration rate increase by $20 for each category.  Register early and SAVE!  No refunds after March 1st, 2013.

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), (DSHS), Continuing Education Service under sponsor number (CS3065)Expiration date December 31, 2013, has been approved by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners (1-888-963-7111) to offer continuing education contact hours to social workers.  Texas Department of State Health Services Continuing Education Service has awarded 20.0 contact hours of Continuing Social Work Education.

 

 

 

Registered Sanitarians:

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Continuing Education Service is considered a sponsor of continuing education for Registered Sanitarians according to the Texas Administrative Code, Title 25, Part 1, Chapter 140, Subchapter C, Rule §140.113 Texas Department of State Health Services Continuing Education Service has awarded 20.0 contact hours of Continuing Education.

 

Certified Health Education Specialists:

Texas Department of State Health Service (DSHS), Continuing Education Services is a designated provider (TX0038) of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.  This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) to receive 20.0 total Category 1 continuing contact hours.  Maximum advanced-level continuing education contact hours are 0 hours.

 

Certificate of Attendance:
