Individual Membership


  • All members receive the Texas Public Health Journal and Newsletter
  • Reduced registration fees at the TPHA Annual Education Conference (up to a $75 savings depending on your category of membership).

  • Continuing Education Credits offered at TPHA Conferences/Events. This usually includes CME, CNE, CPH, CHES, RS, and Social Workers. Certificates of attendance available to all participants.

  • Networking opportunities with peers.

  • Access to public health information, resources, planning and advocacy.

  • Opportunities to showcase your work and compete for awards in the Student Oral Presentation Competition with Special Student Award.

  • Leadership opportunities, including service on the Governing Council, Executive Board, Section Council and Committees.
     
  • Eligibility to join the Texas Health Credit Union
     
  • Eligibility for scholarships and stipends.



Your dues entitle you to a primary membership in one TPHA Section. Non-voting secondary memberships in additional sections are allowed and cost is $5.00 each per year. Membership dues are non-transferable.

  • 1/4 (3.75"x5") page advertisement in 4 issues of the Texas Public Health Journal (Deadlines for submission for Journal Advertising are March 1 for Spring Issue 2, June 1 for Summer Issue 3, September 1 for Fall Issue 4, December 1 for Winter Issue 1)

  • Complimentary Job Announcements on TPHA website
     
  • Listed as agency member on TPHA website
     
  • Opportunities to contribute to public health policy/advocacy work
