All public health professionals, students and interested individuals are encouraged to submit to our Texas Public Health Journal! You do not need to be a member to submit. For important information and specific guidelines, please review all of these sub-pages:

Failure to comply with guidelines may result in submission returns and result in delays!

Please note the following important information:

• • There are no charges to authors associated with submission of any article.
  • Please note that the TPHA Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse items if thought to affect our non-profit status.
  • Each author is responsible for the authenticity and originality of all submitted materials.
  • Our journal is now available to our members and subscribers in an electronic format only. It is not to be considered an "open access" journal.
  • Copyright ownership of articles accepted for publication belongs to the Texas Public Health Association.
  • Our journal is a benefit of membership and TPHA holds the copyright for each published issue and all content.  Please do not share the contents or the entire issue without permission.
  • Each corresponding author will receive one complimentary electronic copy of their published article and the entire journal it was published in.  
  • Each corresponding author may share their article only with up to 5 others, not including co-authors. Please do not share the contents or the entire issue with other individuals without permission.
  • Permission for additional sharing of your published manuscript may be arranged for an additional cost.
  • Printed copies of an issue may be purchased for $10 per copy, but copies MUST be requested in advance of printing each issue. Please contact our Executive Director at txpha@aol.com to make arrangements.
  • For print orders and arranging additional permission to share TPHJ content electronically, please contact our TPHA Executive Director, Terri Pali at txpha@aol.com.
