Call for Short Papers
Information and Guidelines
The Texas Public Health Journal’s editorial team traditionally includes a section in our Spring journal issue that focuses on public health programs that have been implemented or are planned for communities in Texas. This year we plan to concentrate on initiatives that revolve around improving eye health, specifically those projects or programs designed to help improve access to vision care, educational initiatives, and impact of eye health. As part of an APHA Region 6 initiative, we open up this call for short papers to the states of Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana. All papers will be reviewed by a team of vision care experts and those meeting our scholarly standards will be published.
Papers must be no longer than 4 pages, including references, tables, figures, etc. and must comply with all other basic guidelines for authors found on our website at https://www.texaspha.org/page/SubmissionGuidelines.
Please send your short paper on this topic to email@example.com with 'TPHJ Eye Health' in the Subject line.
